Born in the Czech Republic and based in a small mountain town in British Columbia, Kate Goetz draws her imagery from two quiet sources: the Canadian landscape she travels and lives inside, and the folklore of Bohemia she grew up with.
Her work is entirely hand-made — each print is drawn, carved, inked and pulled by the artist, in editions small enough that you're likely to be holding one of only a handful in the world.
